Paper work, check.

   This afternoon I got an exciting call from Heather, the Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator. We set up an appointment for next Wednesday for our first of several home checks (eeeeeek!) which means she'll check out Chateau de Walden in all of it's charm and glory. From where we keep our medicine (guess I have to designate a place now), if we have alcohol in the house (ummmmmmm...), what our dogs are like (sweet & cuddly) and so much more.

  The checklist is pretty extensive... If every parent had to abide by this list before having a child in their home, the world would be a better place. So changes will be made, safety measures put in place and by the end of the summer we should be the safest place on the block for kids =)
